Virtual Card Reader
Any computer on campus can take advantage of IAS Anywhere – the cost-effective alternative to a physical reader. The software-based IAS (iAMECS Advanced Server) Anywhere uses a keyboard containing an internal swipe reader to allow any existing network node to become a “virtual” CampusONE reader. Reader functionality may be defined by the job function or location of the computer; the existing functionality of the computer is unaffected. IAS Anywhere is designed for areas such as bursar’s offices, libraries, health care facilities, etc. By implementing IAS Anywhere into their system, schools can see significant savings across the boards.
